Let there be Light
Many view Genesis as an account of earth’s creation. I view it differently.
When the Gods said, “Let there be light,” they organized my soul.
When they saw matter in distant galaxies and reordered it, they organized my body.
When they gathered the waters and caused land to appear, they orchestrated my birth, my emergence from the waters of life.
The seeds are my actions, the fruits my rewards.
Adam and Eve weren’t simply proper names. Adam is Hebrew for humankind. Eve, in Hebrew, means to live, to breathe, to give life. We are all Adam (humankind) and Eve (life & breath).
The creation story means different things to different people. To me, it’s the organization of every being and the light within them.
When the Gods said, “Let there be light,” they focused the light in you. What you do with that light is your creation story.
