Never Judge Another's Suffering

When we resent the processes of grief and suffering, we don’t learn the powerful lessons they have to offer. As long as we think our suffering is more authentic than someone else’s, or more severe or unique, we don’t learn empathy and we don’t help the sufferer. Never judge the suffering of another. Never compare it to your own. It’s not a contest. Suffering is to teach us empathy, not pride.
