Everything Was Pink

Approaching her 49th birthday, Liz sought clarity for her next chapter in life. She heard a voice say, “You need to be a doctor.”

The multi-year challenge of medical training felt daunting. She had to be certain. She asked for a specific independent witness—a friend with a vision, dream, or confirmatory message.

Liz felt encouraged that night. When she closed her eyes, instead of darkness, she said, “everything was pink.”

A few days later, Liz’s friend, an avowed atheist, came as a reluctant messenger. Without knowing Liz’s experience, the friend described a recent meditation. She said when she’d closed her eyes to meditate, “everything was pink.”

“I saw a woman in a white coat teaching medical students,” the friend continued. “When I approached, it was you. I thought you were too old, but a voice said you’d be 55 when you finished.” Her friend continued, “You must go. You’re wasting your gift.”

Liz listened. She’s 55 now. Her friends, patients, and colleagues call her Doctor, but her real gift is Healer. That’s what she’s always been.

Honor your path. It’s your path. It’s for you.
