Through the Veil
Describing spirit is limited by our lexicon. Words can only go so far.
Similarly, feeling spirit is limited by our physical sensations. In our physical bodies, we usually feel spirit through physical sensations like tingling, warmth, goosebumps, forebodings, hearing, seeing, or tears.
Because we are clothed in veils of flesh, physical sensations often come when we converse with the Divine through that veil. There is more to it, of course—knowing is part of the experience—but physical bodies and human vocabulary limit how we receive and how we describe.
Take note of your physical feelings when you witness profound beauty in art or nature or see an act of pure empathy and kindness. Those physical feelings are spiritual cues you can practice and develop to stay more centered and guided. When your body speaks, listen and act.
