You Are Your Prophet

You are the prophet of your life.

Receiving divine direction is prophetic, even if you hesitate to use the word.

Yours is the responsibility to connect, receive, act, and be.

I love that Joan of Arc acted as an unapologetic prophet. She owned it. She honored her connection even when it was difficult, even when it contradicted the establishment and cost her her life.

Other prophets don’t diminish your prophetic responsibility any more than you dimmish theirs. You can’t abdicate your prophetic role in your life to anyone else no matter how noble they may be.

A prophetic voice from 100, 1,000 or 5,000 years ago is not more valid or more important than your prophetic voice in your life in the present.

You can acknowledge and sustain other prophets, benefitting from their inspired counsel, wisdom, and experience, while still honoring your direct connection and perfect path.

Nothing trumps your communication with the Divine.

Be your prophet.
