Go Now!
Immersed in my morning studies, I heard a voice. “Go see David,” it said.
I planned to go later and returned to my studies. In a few minutes, the voice came again, “Go see David.”
Alright, I thought, I’ll go. Then I returned again to my studies.
The voice came more forcefully the third time. “Go now!”
I pushed my studies aside and headed out the door. I drove to where I knew David would be. As I approached his office, the door opened. He came out putting on his overcoat. If I’d arrived one minute later, I’d have missed him.
We went into his office. I delivered the message I’d been given. He was so grateful.
Some errands are time sensitive. Don’t be like me. Respond the first time. You may not get another chance.
