Let it Flow
When I attempt realism, I end up discouraged and frustrated, the exact opposite of what I want to feel when I paint.
When I paint in abstract, I sit in front of a blank canvas with no agenda. I start applying colors and deep textures, allowing the image to express itself. Stress flows from me and converts into something that makes me feel whole and healed.
Sometimes I take a break and go back later to finish. Often, I just keep painting until it’s done—until it speaks to me.
Then I sit back, take a deep breath, and move on.
Find what flows through you. Let it heal you. And when it feels right, move on.
