While worshipping in a sacred place, Allison felt an unusual tingling in her hands. She hadn’t felt it previously and didn’t know what to expect. She confided to a friend who insisted the sensation had been a flow of healing energy and mentored Allison in developing her gift.

Soon after discovering her new ability, Allison was playing basketball with friends when another player twisted her ankle severely. As the injured player writhed in pain, Allison intuitively wrapped her hands around her friend’s already swelling ankle. Both felt the warm energy flow. Allison saw the injured tendons and ligaments in her mind and felt them heal under her touch.

The injured player initially welcomed the relief from pain. Then a frightened look swept across her face. “What are you doing?” she said rather harshly. She pulled her ankle away and stood up. She walked off the court without a limp and without offering so much as a thank you.
