Being Divine

Release the notion of becoming divine. Embrace the reality of being divine.

We became mortal at birth; not after we grew up or became worthy. We strive to do our best in mortality, but we don’t strive to become mortal. Mortality was a gift, already given. Accept it. Honor it.

We became divine when we emanated from Divine Progenitors long before mortal birth; not at some future time, not when we become worthy. We strive to be like our Divine Progenitors, but we do not strive to become divine. Divinity was a gift, already given. Accept it. Honor it.

Mortality is a privilege born of choice and planning. We came to do mortal things—that’s why we’re here. Don’t demean being mortal. Being mortal does not make us less divine. Mortality is part of our divine journey. To suggest being mortal disqualifies us from the presence of Divinity is contrary to our very nature. It is to say we cannot be in the presence of ourselves.

It’s a common and nefarious tactic, in times of conflict, to suggest others are less than human. It is equally nefarious to suggest human souls are less than divine.

We are, at once, mortal and divine.
