In ancient texts, mountains are synonymous with temples. Souls seeking Divine guidance instinctively move upward to a place of feeling centered. 

In ancient and modern temples, initiands circumambulate as they ascend. While learning, they move up and to the center, toward the symbolic abode of the Divine.

As seekers ascend, they are never directed to go to a window and look outward for their answers. The answers are always up and to the center.

You are the temple those edifices represent. Centered in your temple of flesh, your soul has your divine answers. Stop looking outward.
