Robin held a rose gently in her hands and marveled at its beauty. Seeing it made her happy. It brought her joy. 

The workshop facilitator had given Robin the rose and invited her to open her soul to its message. “If the rose doesn’t speak to you,” he said, “imagine what you would hear if it did.”

Robin didn’t have to imagine. She heard the message clearly. More particularly, she felt it in her heart. She’d felt a twinge of sadness because the fragrant flower had been severed from its source, but then the rose spoke.

“My life purpose and mission is to bring joy. I have just fulfilled the measure of my creation. I have done what I came here to do.” 

We all have a purpose. Everything God creates has a purpose. We honor our purpose in our own way. When we honor our purpose (not someone else’s), we fill the measure of our creation.
